DeSantis Hit With Lawsuit Over Bogus ‘Election Fraud’ Arrests


May 10, 2023 - The DeSantis administration in Florida has been hit with a lawsuit that alleges that last year's "election fraud" arrests (20 of them, to be exact) were nothing more than a political ploy to bolster the Republican governor's credibility for his expected presidential bid. The charges against nearly all of the individuals have been dropped, and Florida Republicans actually had to change the law in order to make future prosecutions even possible after it was determined that the administration screwed things up so badly.
