Ukraine faithful prayed at Golden Domed Cathedral Sunday before one year mark
Feb 24, 2023: ASSOCIATED PRESS - Kyiv, Ukraine - 19 February 2023 - Ukrainian churchgoers on Sunday gathered at St Michael’s Golden Domed Cathedral in Kyiv to pray for their country. Mykolaiv resident Oleksandr Borshch said he prayed for Ukraine's servicemen, both living and dead. 21-year-old Marta Hlushchyk said she prayed for "Heaven's Hundred Heroes", referring to the people killed during deadly protests in Kyiv in 2014. Speaking to leaders gathered at the Munich Security Conference, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had urged Western allies in a video address on Friday to quicken their military support for Ukraine.
